Raw Nut Butter

It’s very easy to make it on your own! There are three things that you need: blender, nuts and some salt. High speed blender will succeed on this task because process will take less time than in a slower food processor. And the most important is that you add no oil!

  • 250g raw nuts (mixed or only one type, I used 100g  cashews and 150g  almonds)
  • 1/2 tsp salt*

*salt iodine free, the best would be that one full of minerals, himalayan or polish “Kłodawska”


  1. Fill the blender with  at least 250g of nuts .
  2. Start with high speed. When mixed nuts start to condense on sides of the mixing bowl then reduce the spin of the knife about a half and let it slowly become oily in time (spreadible). If necessary , scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl from time to time.
  3. Transfer the content to a small jar and store in a fridge.
