Chocolate balls (gluten free, vegan, low fat)

It’s friday afternoon. Today my day off triggered some cravings. In the morning I dreamt about rolls with onion. After I prepared them I just wanted some chocolate. Obviously due to coronavirus mess it’s hard to go anywhere and I had to prepare something at home. I had some extruded millet, cacao ribs, and other useful ingredients. I created these delicious super choccy balls. The taste is fantastic, consistency great to be formed into balls and there is no need to store them in the fridge! Take a look at the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 200g dates
  • 50g brasil nuts
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g caco beans
  • 50g shredded coconut
  • 30g cocoa
  • 50g extruded millet (puffed)+ 40g extruded millet (puffed)
  • 100g maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Put in a Thermomix TM 5 blender all ingredients exluding 40g extruded millet grain. Grind 40 seconds with speed
  2. Take the sticky mass out and mix with remaining millet grain using hands.
  3. Form 4cm (20g) balls and arrange on a plate. There is no need to store it on the fridge.

Enjoy your meal!
